United Home Services recognises that the following requirements of a job may cause manual handling injuries :-

• Lifting and carrying heavy objects
• Sudden, jerky or hard to control movements which cause discomfort or pain
• Too much bending, reaching or twisting
• Where the same position/posture is held for a long time
• Fast repetitious work

United Home Services maintain a register of hazardous substances that are used as well as a copy of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS's) for all chemicals used in the cleaning routine.
